Not much is known about the origin of this vintage set of crystal salt & pepper shakers. They are fitted with faux mother of pearl tops, and contain proper sterling silver hallmarks "925" followed by maker's marks and then the word "sterling" stamped into each cap. The maker's mark appears to have a "£" in it but we were unable to identify the manufacturer.
Sterling Silver Topped Salt & Pepper Shakers by PMR Bavaria Jaeger & Co. with 925 silver hallmark on tops. Wonderful vibrant blue hue to these vintage porcelain salt & pepper shakers. After examining the porcelain mark on this particular set, it can be accurately concluded that this set was manufactured in Germany anywhere between 1949 - 1979.
Vintage Viking Silver-plated Salt & Pepper Shakers Model 1034. Nice pair of antique silverplate salt & pepper shakers by maker Viking Silver with a heavy acanthus leaf detail. Never been polished, full of original tarnish and patina. Marked on the bases with VIKING E.P. Lead (electro-plate) the pattern number 1034 and the base metal being lead.
