Antique T5983 Ford Spark Plug & Cylinder Head Bolt Wrench c1913

Ford Model T Spark Plug and Head Bolt Wrench, part T-5893. T5893 embossed on one side and the Ford logo embossed on the other. This is a very early model with the socket on the end (as opposed to the newer circa 1925 'box end'). It is believed to be from about 1913-14. Measures 10½" long. Hex socket is 11/16" and the crescent end is fitted for 1" bolts. Manufacturing foundry is unknown, but it is NOT the common Script Circle 'M' - instead, the forger's mark is a square with an unidentifiable marking in the center. Rare; after searching through all 81 entries on eBay we were unable to find the exact same type.

A great item for automobilia or petroliana display!

CONDITION: Some surface rust & pitting. No cracks, in fine antique condition.
