Spruce up your old antique Singer machine by giving it a little light, literally! In typical older Singer models a light was not included, but then Singer patented the Singerlight in 1921. One could quite easily attach the light with a single screw and then connect the two terminals to the power supply of an electric sewing machine.
Quite rare it is to find an original authentic Singerlight packaging box. At the time of publishing this, none can be found on eBay or Etsy. Outside of box reads, "Electric Singerlight The Singer Manufacturing Co. Easily Attached. Economical. Effective. Reflects the light on the stitches. Eliminates eye strain."
• Singer Singerlight assembly with mounting bracket and screw
• Good condition Singer Singerlight advertising box (model number 1920 59)
• Pack of two vintage Singer needles (and package)
• Extra small vintage lightbulb (reads "Edison Mazda" on it)
• Screwdriver tool
Condition: Good vintage condition. We tested this out, and it works! The attached lightbulb is original to 1927 and also works. Wiring has become somewhat frayed, someone 'fixed' this with common electrical tape. Box has multiple signs of wear & tear.
