Hard-to-find Westinghouse H-611P5 Portable Transistor Radio. This cool turquoise radio brings back 1950s nostalgia of yesteryear. Likely built in 1957 (according to RadioMuseum) right about the time when transistors first appeared in consumer products. This sleek all-transistor vintage portable radio is clean on the inside and out; with no corrosion or rust (see images).

Hard-to-find Westinghouse H-611P5 Portable Transistor Radio. This cool turquoise radio brings back 1950s nostalgia of yesteryear. Likely built in 1957 (according to RadioMuseum) right about the time when transistors first appeared in consumer products. There were three similar models (only different by colour) and all are considered to be the first-generation pioneers of transistor portable radios to hit the market.

Condition: This sleek all-transistor vintage portable radio is clean on the inside and out; with no corrosion or rust (see images). There are some superficial scratches and patina to the exterior surface but no cracking. Contains all original parts with no restoration.

Measures 6" x 3" x 1¾" deep.

NOTE: This radio is untested. Requires batteries to operate (old-style Eveready 226 or Ray-O-Vac 1600 or equivalent).
